James Dawson-Hollis er en New York basert kunstner. Han er født i 1971, og har en rekke gruppe- og separatutstillinger bak seg så vel i Statene som i Europa. They were shot in the daytime with only the existing light sources, at the time when they were being prepared for the next evening's event. These interiors are similar, almost everything has been painted black. The pillars, walls, speakers, and stages reflect no light, they disappear. These spaces have taken form to serve one purpose.
